Allington Primary School

First opened in 1970 as a County Primary School, Allington Primary School became a non-denominational Foundation School in 1999, having previously been a Grant Maintained self governing school.
Allington Primary is situated in Allington on Hildenborough Crescent, east of the A20 London Road. -

After a long and varied history, in 2002 Brunswick House Primary School moved into modern, purpose built facilities on Leafy Lane in west Maidstone.
Brunswick House is a State Primary School with a two form intake and about 410 children on roll. -
Palace Wood Primary School

Formerly Palace Wood Infants (acorn building) and Juniors (oak building), the combined Palace Wood Primary School is situated on Talbot Road (acorn) and Ash Grove (oak) west of the A20 through Allington.
It is a State Primary School with about 400 children on the School Roll. -
Shernold Primary School

Founded in 1935, Shernold School is a fee-paying Primary School (and Kindergarten) located on Queen's Avenue in south-east Allington.
The School usually admits 20 pupils per year and has a total roll of 160. -
St Francis RC Primary School

St Francis is a Roman Catholic Primary School with about 351 pupils on roll.
It relocated from two separate sites on the east side of Maidstone in 2001, and is now located on Queens Road near the entrance to the Oakwood Park complex. -
St Michael's C of E Infant / Junior Schools
- The St Michael's Schools are Church of England schools located on either side of Douglas Road. While the Church owns the land the schools are built on and have close connections with the schools, day to day administration is in the hands of the Local Authority.

West Borough Primary School is a State Primary School set on Greenway, near the Junction of Queens Road and Tonbridge Road, west of Maidstone.
The Infant and Junior Schools were amalgamated in 1987 and the school now has a school roll of about 400.

Astor of Hever Community School

Astor of Hever is a County-maintained Community High School.
Since 2004 the School has been the Specialist Sports College for Maidstone. Its facilities include the Astor Sports and Leisure Complex (formerly the Westborough Sports Centre). -
Maidstone Girls Grammar School

MGGS is a single-sex, selective Secondary School (up to Sixth-Form), located on Buckland Road not far from Maidstone Barracks Railway Station.
In 2005, they received Specialist Science Status. -
Maplesden Noakes School

Maplesden Noakes is a successful co-educational Secondary School on Buckland Road, close to the town centre of Maidstone.
It received Specialist School status for Business and Enterprise in 2004, and has just completed a large building programme including a new sports hall and all weather pitch. -
Oakwood Park Grammar School

Situated in Oakwood Park, west of Maidstone, Oakwood Park Grammar School is a selective boys-only Secondary School with a mixed Sixth-Form.
As a specialist Maths and Computing college, the school fosters successful links with the local Primary Schools and the wider community. -
St Simon Stock Catholic School

As a Catholic comprehensive co-educational school, St Simon Stock's main function is to serve the Roman Catholic community of Mid Kent. Students from other denominations and faiths are admitted whenever places are available.
Based in Oakwood Park, they received specialist Technology College status in 2003.
